My only critique is the assembly instructions are vague and less than intuitive. The pictures did not accurately represent the parts, but thankfully, being an architect, I was able to figure it out. The laying coop works wonderfully, though I did add a foam strip at the bottom of slope to prevent breakage.

The nesting box in and of itself is fabulous. It’s a quality product. It was fairly easy to construct with one minor exception. First I was building to collect eggs outside the coop. The issue has to do with putting on the top. The 3/8” screws are not long enough. The instructions addresses the issue and provides recommendations. Take my advice, same the time go to Lowe’s or wherever and by longer screws like #8-32 by 1 inch. The increased length allows you to work around the problem. Hen Gear knowing the issue exist should provide the screws. Beyond that singular annoyance it took me about an hour and a half to put the box together.

Love it! The ladies warmed up to it pretty quickly. We had some egg eaters (both hens and dogs) and they constantly trashed the nests - so we had very few eggs left at the end of the day, and what was left was always dirty. Since installing, we've had more eggs than ever and they're clean! Simple to assemble and well worth the money. So glad to have found this.

Hi, this is my second nest box from you. First one 32” is working great except a couple broody hens lay floor eggs sometimes. I’m expanding my flock and adding another coop, so the 48” box is not in use yet, but i wanted it here when we build the wall. After using my first box, i knew i wanted to stick with you. Everyone always says WOW when they open the egg compartment and see all the beautiful clean eggs. I have many egg colors too, it is a simple pleasure to see this beauty every day. And so easy when we travel, for friends to collect eggs for us. I set it up to pass through the wall. Heater worked well, I added more insulation to box. I’m in Minnesota. On very cold days I grabbed eggs a few times a day and only a few froze, mostly floor eggs actually. Thanks for designing such an effective product!
I watched the set up video which made assembly very simple. I haven’t got it mounted to the wall yet, but I can’t wait to see how my hens take to it!

I love how the eggs are easy to get to without disturbing the chickens. The eggs are clean making washing them faster and so much easier on my back. The design is wonderful!

Mounted the hanger rollout nesting box (reversed) and leveled up our mobile chicken tractor! Love it. Easy to assemble and install. Definitely getting another one for our other mobile coop.

It was easy to put together, but haven't installed in Coop as of yet. We are having a new coop custom built with opening designed for the Hen Gear. After reviewing many systems like this I found Hen Gear to be the best designed and more for the money. I was tired of dirty eggs so this will solve that issue. Can not wait to get it installed.

We are looking for a product to collect our clean eggs, we tried several methods but it’s hard bc our hens are free range in the woods but finally we got hen gear and it’s working for us, good quality product for sure we will buy more.

I will admit is was a little difficult to assemble. I was dissappointed that the hen gear sticker was partially scratched off on the top piece. The results are awesome though. Clean eggs. We had an egg eater hen but now that has ended. All the tios and tricks on getting the hens used to it were helpful. I really love this product.
